The NHS

In order to deliver an even more effective health service the current Government aims to provide “Equality and Excellence” by “Liberating the NHS”

In his white paper issued on 9th September 2010, Simon Burns the Health Minister set out a clear path for the NHS:

“Improving IT is essential to delivering a patient-centred NHS. But the nationally imposed system is neither necessary nor appropriate to deliver this.”
